Graham LeonardVolcano Geologist
Biography
Graham’s research interests are in New Zealand volcanic geology, stratigraphy and geochronology; developing effective warning systems, especially for volcanic, tsunami and landslide/debris-flow processes; and quantifying/characterising and mitigating the impacts of natural hazard events.
Project role
In the ‘Beneath the Waves’ research programme, Graham is developing effective communication tools for volcanic hazards.
