Rory HartField Technician
Biography
Rory uses geodetic GPS and magnetotellurics (MT) field methods to understand the tectonic deformation of New Zealand and how heat moves through the crust.
Project role
In the ‘Beneath the Waves’ research programme, Rory is assisting in the deployment of marine MT instruments, used to understand the conductivity structure and fluid pathways beneath Whakaari/Tuhua.
