Biography

Scott’s research focus is on natural hazard risk reduction through land use planning and the implementation of science in policy.

Project role

In the ‘Beneath the Waves’ research programme, Scott is responsible for Critical Step 1.3.9 and will work with the researchers across the BTW programme and other research programmes to integrate BTW hazard models and maps across outputs from other sources. Critical Step 1.3.9 will also engage with end-users of hazard models and maps to ensure modelling output are useable across a wide range of settings.
